As bright steel in coils or bars or as polished, precision-drawn high speed and tool steel. Also available with a rough-machined, rough ground or precision ground surface finish.
Alternatively available as semi-finished product or forged product with a piece weight of up to 40 t.

Böhler Schmiedetechnik have taken near net shape technology further, and produce open die forgings for turbines, aerospace, engines and other engineering applications on the world's largest screw press. 
Today, materials make the impossible possible.  Even faster, higher, stronger. We take the press to the limits of its capabilities. Using "Deform" software we simulate real forging conditions and continuously develop new forging processes and alloys thus optimising the quality of our forged products.
